By default, our software programs appear at a screen resolution of 1024 x 768. If your screen is smaller than this, the monitor does not meet the minimum system requirements for running the software. See this article if the content of the software is a normal size but the software window itself is too large for your monitor.

If your monitor has a resolution of at least 1024 x 768 but the content of the software seems to be zoomed in and does not fit inside the window, here are some troubleshooting tips:

  1. Check to see if screen magnification is enabled on your computer. This will zoom everything on your computer to a larger size. This causes problems in our software program, so be sure to set magnification to default (100%) while running the software.
  2. Our software programs are set to use a specific font and font size. If there is a problem on your computer where the font is deleted or the size is changed, your computer will auto-assign a different (often larger) font in its place, which gives text the appearance of being zoomed in. This is indicative of a "permissons issue" on your computer, which means that the software program is being blocked from accessing the files it needs to run correctly. For some possible solutions, see this article.

If those do not help, please fill out a support ticket and describe the situation. Be aware that we are not able to offer in-person support, and monitor issues are tricky to identify and fix remotely. It may be necessary to set up a school computer or other alternative for you to use.
